You are Welcome rhill.

I didn't make and decide to sell AirDocIntake systems to be rich and famous.

I decided to make one the way I felt it was supposed to be for a Hummer/Truck.  My friends said.....that thing is too cool, sell some and let a bunch of people get them.

So here I am, and I did.  The AirDocIntake has a couple points some others don't, but it is heavy duty and supposed to be over the top overkill.  I like the way it looks, the quality of the fit and finish can't be beat, easy to install, and....best of all....it does work

So what have all you 2006/2007 H3 divers been waiting for?

If you can use a GM stock airfilter, housing and tubes from a 2007 H3 then they're yours for shipping cost only from 33158.  Let me know.

I really do not want to store another stock system, and I will not use it.  I always encourage people to retain their OEM when doing mods for lease turn in, trade or resale.  The reason I say this is if you lease/trade, and turn it in with anything other than stock, you will get hit big time with the $$ to replace the stock system (wheather the stealer puts it back on or not).  At GM discount prices, to replace the stock air filter box, lid, accordian hoses, resonator box, and clamps.............over $600.00 retail.

Might want to hang onto your stock stuff geeggee, but thank you for the offer.

I own.  No lease and I would never revert back to stock.  I'm surprised I can't sell it or give it away.  I guess it goes to the land fill along with the stock exhaust system.   What a waste...next truck I buy I'll request it without certain items.

I hear what you are saying.  I would assume that at some point you will sell it, the buyer may not be of the same opinion as you and I, and might prefer stock?
Why, IDK, but some people will not mod anything???

Now, if that were parts of a 68-72 Olds Intake.....well that's another story.  I'd drive to your house to pick it up.

I got it, save it for 40 years, then it will be worth a mint.

Mine is working like a champ.  No parts coming loose, no paint peeling off, nothing.  It still seems to improve.  I would think the system as a whole should probably be pretty much broken in by now as far as the computer learning and all of that correct? It just seems like it's moderately getting faster and better, but that could be because the weather is warming up as well.

I'm happy to say that Trey's snorkle is still in place.  I guess it is an advantage to have the silicon a little warmer than it was the day I did it.... I love the design and we showed it off today to a couple more people...

Checked after I got home today and it's still in place, so it must have been just the mechanic that was installing it.  I keep showing it off to people Doc, so you maybe getting some more orders.

I am supposed to hear something this week??? about getting some custom filters made.

Thanks you guys for your support, and for your product feedback.  I am pleased to see/hear that people are using the AirDoc Intake
for what it was intended, on a truck in any and all conditions (4 wheeling etc.) and enjoying it!  Cool.

Hey Doc,

How's it going with the AirDoc Intake for the V-8 Alpha? I've got the PCM tune and exhaust done, I'm waiting patiently for the air intake. Do you think it will be soon? Please let me know.

Should be done with the 2008s by the end of the month........, but still................no filters.
I'm not having much luck on getting a custom 2008 H3/Alpha filter made.  I'll keep at it and will let you all know what I find.

Sorry Doc, I didn't see the post above before I sent the post below.

Well, I have two strikes on the filter quest.  I am working on the third supplier.  They just do not seem to be too interested right now?  All I have to say is those are some wierd azzed air filters.

Everyone with an 08 keep emailing filter makers and tell them you want them to make one for your truck, soon they will listen, we hope.

are you trying to get cone filters or the oem type panel filters? I would much prefer a cone filter that fits on the end of your pipe.

Hey Doc...your intake even with stock filter would be an improvement over that mess that's on the Alpha now!

To give you all an idea of the culprit so to speak, here is a side view pic of the 2008 air filter.  What is wierd is that the "seal" is thin AND in the middle, not on the top or bottom.  I am working with another filter company to see if they are interested in busting loose this new aftermarket filter design NOW.............instead of later?  Two previous makers did not actually say no, they said yeah we'll get to it???  No time frames given and I offered to pre-order 10 -20+.    Give me a little more time trying to get a high flow performance filter going from this last mfg.  I am starting to consider selling AirDoc tubes without any filter available so buyers could add one later when available, but that is not how I would prefer to do the 2008 models.  I'm not ready to do that yet.
Certainly some filter maker will get this going when they think demand will justify it, so please keep emailing your favorite air filter mfgs and request a product for your 2008.
