Whats your GPS of choice <$400 and why?

Im looking for something that doesnt require monthly fees nor fees for updates.  Something thats righteous and functional right out of the box (turn-key solution).  Something with Bluetooth and MP3 (w/ car interface) would be goodie gum-drops too.

Danke

I think you need to check on the Garmin Nuvi's for your requirements.

I have no experience with anything other than my Garmin Streetpilot 7500 ($1495) but some of the guys I work with have had great luck with their Garmins priced in the $200-$700 range.

I heard those are nice...  I saw the screen on one recently and it was crisp.

Trey bought his wife a NUVI for Xmas... maybe he can review it for you.

I got my wife the garmin nuvi 660. It was on sale for $399, has tons of features. Bluetooth, mp3 player, audiobooks, preloaded maps, etc.  She loves it and uses it all the time.

You guys are too high tech for me. I use the Street and Maps software on my laptop. Of course I also use my laptop for Terrain Navigator also. Guess I am a dinosaur.

if you hook up the dead reckoning cable to the speed sensor.

I just love the 7" touch screen... it gets me through the day in the work van... and home

I've got a Nuvi 360 and it's great.  And I did a lot of research ahead of time, and the Nuvi line had like 4 out of the top 5 GPS units.
