Well I was installing my Navigation and hit the button turning on the off road lights without knowing it, well the light covers are now little balls of melted plastic!!! Well that just wasnt enough so I needed to top it with something bigger. I had my entire dash torn apart when I realized I needed another adaptor. It was just a few block away so figured I'd make do and head over to get the part. The first coener I came to I made a right hand turn when I realized the guy in the left lane had decided to come into my lane so I hit the gas hard to stay out of the way. When I hit the gas as I rounded the corner the pillar cover that was on the dash slid down and caused the steering wheel to lock in the sharp right turn which caused me to jump the curb and hit the damn telephone pole!! All I can say is thank god for my brush guard, really no damage to the truck only to the brush guard, I'll post some pics tomorrow. And just for good measure they didnt even have the part, actually it looks like no one in town has one, ARRGHH!!!

Sometimes if you don't have bad luck you just wouldn't have any at all. What are the odds???

Bonzaiii, at least you didn't damage those nice custom marker lights!! Look on the bright side!
I guess your insurance covered the pole?

That sounds like something that would happen to me. Well, it would have. Thank you for proving to me NOT to do it.
Look at it like this: comparitivly speaking it's a cheap fix, the pole could have come down on top of your truck or the wheel could have stuck the other way and the truck would have been the least of your worries.
Hope it woks out for you.

Stick around, I didn't even check my rig for damage until I was saftly out of sight!
Here are a couple of pics of the damage. VERY little to the truck itself, but not only did I bend the brush guard real bad but also cracked it along a couple of the welds.
On another note any suggestions on how to remove the baked on plastic from my off road lights?
