I run, well I don't run, I am too fat... The H2 runs on the beach twice a day - dusk and dawn...I am getting the undercoat done Monday - will get pics and keep posted... I am thinking of undercoating the skid plate too...

Undercoating getting done as I type...
Not sure if it really helps - I think with today's technologies they have come along way with regards to coating all that stuff underneath...
Then again - peace of mind is always nice!

Sounds like a great idea. What does the undercoating look like when done? Clear, textured? I'm curious as I would like to repel as much rust as possible from the frame.

Thanks Jax...
The short answer... it is not pretty - it is course, black and smelly... but, i am not too concerned about the underneath as it doesn't have to look too clean for me (sorry Hummbob!)...

NEW UPDATE:
It seems there is some "scaling" underneath.. it is taking them a bit longer to clean and prep it before the coating...
The good news, a friend of the family owns the body shop, so not only will it not cost more but I trust the work... the bad news... I wonder what was scaling...
Will post when I find out more and also if this is common... probably to New England (where I am from) due to the salt and messy roads..

Looks great! I'm going to need to seriously consider this now. How much should I expect to pay for this type of treatment?
Again, awsome idea, and it came out killer!

Undercoating has come a long way.... it was the cause of my Bronco frame rusting out....

HAHA - yeah, i had some undercoating issues with one of my old Jeeps (86)...
I really do think it has come along way, seriously. As far as cost, it took him 5 hours to remove all the rust and to actually do the coating didnt take much time... cost me 250, but i definitley fell i did alright with price... it was 250 before they had so much scaling to clean up... so he stuck to the price..
Side note - when to a Nissan dealer with a buddy who is checking out a truck (i know i know)... anyway ALL the new trucks had the undercoat done, maybe be a New England thing now...

My 03 h2 is undercoated as well. Mine looks a little different though. Mine has a smooth flat black finish. Looks to be rubbery. I do not have a single spot of rust under the truck. I test drove about 12 different hummers this summer and saw that a ton of them were loaded up with surface rust when i found this one was was plesantly suprized.
