gas milage how to figure

i am almost done  w  first  tank  and  want to know  the forulam to figure  what  gas  milage  ... thanks 

miles driven divided by gal. put in @ fill up

As long as you know how many miles was driven since your last fill up..this is what the TRIP-ODO is good for

It's not rocket science!
 
Fill it up
Set odo to zero
Drive
Refill at gas station
Divide miles driven by the ammount of gas required to fill tank. It isn't 100% accurate but it is all you can do off the odometer and gas pumps.
 
Example (s) :
200 miles driven /10 gallons used = 20 mpg
 
250 miles driven / 15 gallons used = 16.6 mpg
