I am the Engineering Manager for Car Sound / Magnaflow Performance Exhaust. I am currently investigating new segments of the Exhaust aftermarket to see what we can offer.
Here is what I am looking for:
1. A 2008 Hummer H2 (with airbag suspension) available for one-two weeks for size, fitment, performance, and economy.
2. An owner willing to provide feedback regarding their experience with the product.
3. The owner must be able transport the vehicle to our facility at:
Magnaflow Tech Center
23201 Antonio
Rancho Santa Margarita, CA 92688
Here is what we will provide in return:
1. As stated above, a free exhaust- Typical of our product line, this will be a street-legal cat-back of 100% stainless steel contruction.
2. A rental car for the duration of development
3. For development extending beyond expected timelines we have additional compensation but our typical build and test time is 4-6 days.
If you are interested in participating in our Consumer Cooperative Development program please contact me or Richard.
Feel free to submit your information on our website (http://www.magnaflow.com/10projectvehicle/prototype.asp) but please follow up with a call for a quick response:

Sounds like a great program for some lucky 2008 H2 owner. I don't have one but if you are looking for a 2008 H3 Alpha at some point let me know.

Just my 2cents!!
I LOVE my Magnaflow!! I have Part #15770!!!!
Just wish you had the dual rear split when I got mine
Is there any way to MODIFY the 15770 so I have the 16673 dual rear split??

Hummerbob,
Im interested in giving my H2 a little more gruff in its sound but I am concerned of getting to loud to the point its not comfortable on trips. Just left a flowmaster dealer and they have a system with a resinator and say it'll have a more humbling sound but was a bit pricie and was not a stainless system. Is the megaflow? Your general take would be great.

Hummerbob,
The main difference from the 15770 and the 16673 is the D/S tailpipe. It has 2 extra 90 degree to split off to the left hand side of the vehicle. the whole front section is completely identical.
fltrader,
all of our systems are 100% stainless
