Yeah, it's a good addition to the Hummer family, but I'm still in awe over that Hx!
My Hummer Dealer says the HX is scheduled as a 2010 model. Maybe a H3T in between?

Cool videos, thanks for posting that youtube link.
I do hope sometime soon (perhaps the upcoming auto show) we get to see the H3T in another color besides the orange/red color thats in been in all the pictures and videos so far.
I noticed in the videos the H3T has hood handles, front roof amber lights and a new style of black Hummer wheels,,,,,,,,, interesting.

Seems to be a few negitive comments about the bed size on the H3T, as I recall I read the bed is just over 5' long.
I currenty have a Tacoma with a 6' bed and my Nissan bed was well under 6', to me the H3T bed size seems to around the same size as other trucks of its size.
Cheers

I agree, a 5' bed will work for all kinds of things. I currently have first gen Sport Trac which has a 4' bed, and for general truck stuff it will hold just about anything I need. For long pices of lumber, you just have to tie it down and use the spare tire to hold it down or prop it up on top of the wheel wells (Sport Tracs rear window helps here too). For other large items like washer/dryer or refrigerator I'd use the Sport Track because it was easier to load in to than my 4X4 F150 that had a 6' bed.

it's starting to grow on me the more I look at it. Are they going to be offering a hard cover like the avalanche?

According to the website they have already teamed up with a number of aftermarket companies to offer the hard tonnau (sp) covers. You are supposed to be able to get them as an option if you want or you should be able to buy them afterwards

that's cool...I'm guessing it won't have a midgate or ower rear window?

Damn!
Had this been out this winter I would have picked it up over the H3 SUV.
I have to haul motorcycles, surfboards and such, but wanted something that was comfortable and good offroad. The 5' bed would work if the tailgate folds down, or like the Ridgeline folds down and swings out.
Looks good!

Why not?
It's not fair because the H3 has a crappy front diff and NO factory option for a locker. That and it falls apart too easilly because it's aluminum.

I also had a Sport Trac before buying my H3......A guy at work also had a sport trac before he bought his H3. It would be interesting to know how many H3 owners out there previously owned a Sport Trac. I did like that truck.

good point...glad I decided to lease the 06 and not buy it...with the i5 bieng made more powerful in 07, the addition of the alpha in 08 and now the h3t and possibly the h3x next year I can see the resale value of the 06's dropping big time. kind of ashame for 06 owners that helped get the h3 platform off the ground.

Dont think this has been posted yet, Hummer.com now has info on their website, click on the Hummers News section to pull up info and specs on the H3T.
