The H3T information embargo got officially broken today (Ebola/hummer.dad had the scans up yesterday).

Go check out Brian's site for all the details from the GM press release.

I think I like what I see: (needs some 33's, SMA guard and some sliders)

You believe this!!! 10.2 inches with the optional 33inch tires. Front and rear locking differentials, why didn't they do this with the Alpha???

I think its under the bed so it can get screwed up while off-roading! Maybe the underbody protection will have a spare tire shield

It's coming out ALOT sooner then the summer though  but you didn't hear that from me.

I'll have pictures of it from the Chicago Auto Show in a few weeks.

I like it, but I was expecting more of an Avalache type bed...maybe the pics just don't do it justice?

The only problem I see is if I can let my Tactical go or not

Looks nice.  Is that an Alpha Emblem on the Tailgate?

One interesting point about the drivetrain, the HUMMER H3T is the only midsize truck to offer front and rear locking differentials. Along with full-time four-wheel drive, that option helps HUMMER stay true to their off-road heritage.

There will be four versions offered, including the base version with the Vortec 3.7-liter inline-five (245 hp/242 lb.-ft.) and the H3T Alpha, which comes with the 5.3L small-block V8 (300 hp/320 lb.-ft.).

Not bad and I do think it will grow on me. With an F-250 crew cab diesel 4x4 I think I'll wait for the H4 though.

I like it's proportions a lot better.

It is made on a longer frame I hear. I see that the rear wheel well arches no longer encroach onto the rear doors.

Gives it a longer, lower look.  More like an H1, which is long, wide, and not real tall.  The H2 and 3 are both taller, narrower, and shorter in length.  Makes them look odd, mainly the H2, which looks like it got cought in a compactor  Really tall, but not real wide.

I have absolutely no use for a TruckUV,...but this new H3T is a nice looking one.

Would be nice if they offered an H3 on that longer pkatform.  I'd enjoy one that was 4-6" longer inside.

It is indeed under the bed. Look at the last pic (side profile) and you can see the tread under there.

Gunner:  I think those are 33 Duelers in the pics.  I like it mostly.  Can they really get a 33 spare behind the rear axle and underneath?

I WANT to go drive one!!!

Not a pickup guy myself but I bet it will look good in person. Curious what they'll charge for such a loaded  (lockers, etc) machine.

And will they upgrade the H3 to having available front lockers?
