I've been meaning to take a picture to post my custom setup...I was at the dealer last night and had my H3 parked out front when a customer asked about the winch option. :)

Nice. I have wench, but she isn't too enthusiastic about hanging on to my front bumper while I drive.

Thanks, guys. Yes, the winch is a basic 8000lb winch. The mount is custom made from a guy in Michigan that is having them made from his custom designed template. It fit perfectly and only took 10 mins to install on the front!

It is a permanent mount. However, just remove four bolts and it comes right off.

crisb@cbphoto.com He's out of Michigan so if you buy one from him the shipping price will vary depending on where you live. It's a great mount and it's even pre-drilled for the winch and fairlead to bolt right on!

I finally got my winch mounted also. Fabbed up a custom bracket. Turned out very nice. I've been putting on some serious miles lately so I'll get it cleaned up and get some pics soon!
Yours looks great though! Do you know where in MI that guy is from?
