Exhaust size larger on 07's?

Someone just told me that the 07 has 3.5" exhaust versus 3" on previous years. Is this true? Does anyone have an 06 who could wrap a measuring tape around the exhaust pipe (not tip, since tips can vary in size) and measure the circumference to confirm this difference? I can then calculate the diameter from the circumference (d=c/3.14). The 07 indeed has a 3.5" diameter exhaust, I just measured it.

I do not have the 06 anymore, so I can not do this myself.

Help please!

I'm gonna say it is true based on the fact that Corsa lists 03-06 and then 07...

Good find. I think we are onto something here. Yes, the Corsa has different part numbers for earlier H2's, so this must be true. larger diameter pipe could be the reason for the different sound note, different resonation (vibration), smoothness, and different power band. Everything about the engine feels different on the 07 than on the 06 (and I like the 06 engine feel way better).

I also read somewhere that they went to great lengths to reduce cabin noise in the 07's and ehxuast was part of that.... but I can't find the atricle now.

Actually the noise INCREASED on the 07 as compared to my 06. Typical GM engineering....
