You talking about a dual filter / remote filter setup ?

Predator or Adventure Accessories sell the dual oil filter kit for the H1. Runs about $100.00.

Thanks 3 Hummers I found it !!
This seems to be a GREAT investment for only $100. It's better to be safe than sorry I guess??

Don't know of anyone running the dual oil filter set up. I am not. Seems like I read something somewhere that wasn't entirely positive but don't remember where or what it said. Someone will chime in shortly that has experience with it.

Seems like that is what I had heard or read. Not as much benefit to doing it as you might think.

Personally I think you could see the same benefit that duals offer by adding a bigger/longer single filter.
I am going to try it personally and I will give everyone my personal imput on what I see and any results I record. I am also going to do an aluminum oil pan that can hold a little more oil aswell.
I am going to do these two mods at the same time so hopefully I see some cooler temps.
I personally think that this should make quite a difference but we will see.

I don't think you are going to notice much difference in your temps but it can't hurt. Let us know how it works out.

If you are going to all of that trouble for cooler temps make sure you add a nice new oversized oil cooler then...

I have not seen a oversized oil cooler offered by anyone? Do you know a Vendor that offers a direct fit for our trucks??
Thanks

If you are looking for cooler temperatures, you are barking up the wrong tree.
My bet is that you need to disassemble your radiator stack and clean it.
Have you ever taken your truck in the mud before?

Hmcoleap I dont think that my rad has ever been taken off and cleaned before. The truck does have almost 50,000 miles on it.
I don't take my 03 in the mud at all so I know this wouldnt have affected it.
I am also loking at doing an aluminum rad?? I would rather do this then clean the 2003 rad??

aluminum rad would be great but in the winter you might suffer from it... The heater in the truck wont blow much warm air.

And that would be more important to you than most wouldn't it Injun?

heh well not too much important to me but to my gf and baby yes... but he is also a fellow cannuck and lives even further north than me so food for thought for him... although I plan on aluminum rad for my rig... was actually going to do it this past fall but that was taken into consideration and decided to wait till spring/summer to do so.
