I love to join. I've experience a event like that last year so I'm looking forward to have another off-roading. So now it's here, meeting new people and the car fanatics are on the road again.

One of my life long best friends has a cottage, and his parents have a house on Drummond.  That is about the only place in MI you really get a shot at wheeling on rocks!
I'm gonna watch this one closely and see when my brud will be up there.

Beautiful place, the dude that owns Dominos Pizza owns a huge chunk of the island....Tom Monaghan.  Has his own air strip.

I thought he sold his stake in the island.... at one time I believe he owned all of it.....

Turtle Ridge is a very challenging park (rocks, trees, hills, water), if you are up for a challenge come and join the Hummer Club!

I think he did sell almost all of it.   He owned about half I think?

I think in past years they were like $125 - 130 per person.... but I could be wrong its been a few years since I have been able to attend the event as it generally gets scheduled ontop of some other event going on in my life.....

pre-run went well.... some guys got up there a day early and played on the state trails.... two H3s punctured their tires..... other then that the only other carage we had was a broken door handle on an H3.... all in all a great run.... Turtle ridge is probably the most challenging off-road in this neck of the woods.... they were making a "mini-rubicon" trail for their top-truck challenge, and this thing was nutz, with boulders 5 ft high..... of course we didn't go on that 200 ft long course, but it was there.... its got everything from new-b to extreme....

We''ll be bringing the 2 again and most likely the 1. We''re bringing a couple friends of ours this time out and are even trying to talk our neighbors into bringing their H3 out. I can''t wait for this year, its going to be awesome! Try to add this one to your calendars everybody!
