Hey now! Case in point..I stopped in the groc store this eve and hit the card aisle for a card for my sweetie...you know what I saw?  Row upon empty row of "Husband cards" and not a single empty Wife slot in fact they were all FULL!   That tells me that (besides the fact I should not have waited until the last minute LOL) men are not in there buying their sweeties a card!   And yes we have ours covered already - a trip to a nice cozy cabin in mountains next week with a hot tub in front of a fireplace out on the deck!   i

Funny, Totally different experience for me. Went to get th MOTHER-IN-LAW a valentines Monday. ALL the WIFE/GIRLFRIEND spots were EMPTY while there were TONS of HUSBAND/BOYFRIEND cards??? What's up with that!!!

Case of favorite wine----check

Umm or it could be due to the 109,000 customers without electrical power   The restaurant I had made reservations to was one of them ... Not sure if it has been restored now but she works tonight so .. no go anyways.  We only got about 3 inches of snow initially, another 2 over night .. it is the 1" sheet of ice on everything that sort of put a damper on things ...   That of course inbetween the snow falls so everything looked nice and snowy this morning .. until you tried to walk on it LOL!  I saw my across the street neighbor stand on her ass trying to get to her mailbox this morning ... nothing like starting the day out with a good chuckle

Mikey, in all fairness...many of we women would do just fine without the bling today..If we had inclement weather conditions here..I'd be thrilled with just an evening of sensitivity and romance and none of the above mentioned...which surely would then generate some serious passion!   Luckily for me tho, I do have a sweet man whom also happens to be a generous "blingmeister"   on special occasions LOLOL.
