Noticed it in the past few days. When I come to a quick stop or accelerate from a stop I hear a popping sound from my driver's seat. I looked underneath and everything seem tight. Anyone else have this happen.
On another note, my wife has been driving the H3 more lately. I've been driving the TT...longer drive to work and better mileage. The more she drives it, the more I hear, "I like the H3." I have a feeling it's going to be difficult to get the Hummer back.

She probably messed with something under the seat..see if there's a beer can or a tube of lipstick banging around up under there.

I got really squeaky leather on my driver seat, whenever I move my butt back and forth it makes the noise ( like when I make a turn ), its starting to get really flippen annoying. I noticed when I put leather conditioner on the leather around the plastic panel where the power seat knobs are it goes away for about 2 days...then comes back

. not sure if its the same noise your hearing, just wanted to vent a little

I had a feeling this thread was going to go this way. After all putting the words seat and popping sound in the same sentence was asking for trouble. :•)

My 2007 H3 does it also. I think that the power rails are shifting up and down during accel and stopping. It only did it once and awhile when I first got the vehicle in December but now it does it all the time (12k miles). My dealer can't seem to replicate the sound, says it does not do it when the Service Manager drives the rig. He weighs about 180 lbs, I am at 140ish. He told me to let the problem get worse and it will be covered under the warranty. Most likely a new power seat assembly. And yes it does get to be a little anoying sometimes but the sound system seems to hide the problem quite well!

Boy, as much as I like puns, groaner jokes and plays on words, I'm not touching this with a 10 foot pole.
