Does Anyone(shorty, muddy) Know How To Remove

The rear bumper cover?? # 5



I bought a replacement one on eBay as I have the Billet Chrome HUMMER letters on mine and want to take it off for the winter!!

I dunno buddy... mine is at the shop...  I do seem to remember having the plastic seal plate off (clips, 2 screws) and there being screws/bolts....
 
I can't seem to be able to google any pictures to refresh my memory.
 

the shop manual only shows entire bumper removal, which i don't think is what you want to do.  remove the shackles, unplug the trailer hitch wiring and the mounting bolts.  sorry dude, can't help much.

i have a blow torch,maybe you can give it a custom touch

Real easy to remove....use a small screwdriver to pull out the middle of the plastic pieces (#4). Once that has been pulled out a bit it can be completely pulled out of the hole. Then remove the side pcs (#3). You'll have to squeeze the tabs that hold it in place. Look on the inside of the bumper, you'll see what I mean. The bumper cover is attached the same way.....Not sure if I explained it good enough for you but it really is very easy.
