I honestly don't see the pro's outweighing the cons when it comes to getting an alpha. Sure having a v8 is nice...but for the price difference the extra few ponies aren't that impressive. Let's get real here...it's not like your getting a hemi or a big v8 putting out 400hp. Just not worth the price tag IMO

You guys need a nap time................maybe with cookies.

Sorry, this is Friday isn't it?  Got a 4-day for the MLK day and now I'm all confused. He's supposed to go Saturday.

how much sleep will Mike get tonight?

Judging from his little letter that he wrote the other day, not much. I hope he walks out of there with a new one. He's going to be crushed if he doesn't.

we should start a new thread and have mike check in every hour that he's still awake  I'm sure he will be dissapointed if he doesn't get a new one.....I got my h3 on the same lease he has on his, and also got it around the same time as him. The best I could get to trade in on an alpha would have run me $4000 down and $720 a month for 70 months!!!  OUCH

OUCH!  That's why I buy, leasing is good for some. I just like having the freedom to do what I want to and with it. Maybe you should start the thread, I'm sure this is kind of burried in here and he won't see it.

yea I hear ya about the leasing thing. Only reason I leased mine is because I bought it real early on when they first came out and didn't want to buy something that may have bugs that needed to be worked out. Which I am very happy about because my vin falls in the range of all the known problems so far. Once this lease is up I'm giving it back and getting a new one that I'll finance...too bad yellow won't be available

Not slamming you or anyone else that leases, please don't anyone take it that way. I personally don't like leasing. Case in point is my wife's H3, if I hadn't bought her 06 outright I never would have been able to buy her 08. The 06 was paid off but we only had it for a year, they would have killed us worse than they did trading in at the time. Hell, I traded in an 07 Silverado on my Tactical. Just too fickle with the cars to lock in like that.
 
You could always get it painted. You can still buy the paint. Wouldn't be cheap, but would be a one of a kind.

I used to lease EVERYTHING.....Just worked well with my taxes!!!
 
The H2 is the 1st vehicle in YEARS that I bought cause I knew I wanted to mod it!!!

Always bought. Hope Mike comes out ok and gets a deal he can do.

Here's my short story: I went to two different car detailing places last night.  One was closing (30 minutes early) and the other wasn't even open and it was 5:30, but were supposed to be open 'til 7.  Bastards
 
So, since there are crap auto stores around here, I had to go buy all of the cleaning and detailing stuff myself and do the dirty work on my own, get the car washed, etc.
 
I even bought new floor mats for the front.  I figure $20 is a small investment.
 
I spent about 3 hours last night cleaning the interior, and going against my own beliefs, and using Armor All   I personally can't stand the stuff, but it hides scuffs well, and makes things look new again
 
I took it to get washed as well, but since it was snowing at the time, it's so-so.  I have a 65 mile drive this morning to the dealer and to meet Mike for breakfast, so I'm sure by then it will look like sh1t.
 
AND, my damn H3 badges never came, so there are no badges on the H3 right now.  I'm sure they will appreciate that lol.
 
ImportKiller knows how much I'd be getting the Alpha for.  He can tell you it's a deal I cant possibly pass up.  I have a backup if that doesn't work though.

If I don't end up with a new truck, mine is looking damn good right now, and made me realize it's not in as bad of shape as I thought.  The interioir is still in pristine shape, and most of the body. 
 
If it wasn't for all that work, I probably wouldn't have slept at all, and for the first time in my life, I'm actually nervous about buying a new car, in a good way.  What are these strange feelings? It's all so new to me..............

I hope you get the new ride bro i can just imagine how you feel, and with the leasing i will NEVER lease another car again im currently in a lease with the 2007 mazda cx7 for my daughter and wow can i tell you how much i hate that car and how much i hate how the lease is going, i wonder what the dealer will say knowing the cars been rolled on its side and slid...
