Doc, Muddy, Impy, WTF?

It's just wasn't the same with all of you not posting all day long here yesterday.  Even Doc only threw in one or two posts.  I think he's tired of us talking the smack about him

Muddy did his usual volley after work.  IK was busy drillin bowling balls.  I was out of the office.  People do got to work???

Glad you missed me.  Kinda miss them dipchit trolls, nobody to pick on lately.  Great group of active members if I don't say so myself.  Keep it up gang.
My Bro-in-law from Chigago and family are driving in to town Friday, so Saturday I will be out.  Mom's goin south so I got to drop her at the airport tomorrow am early, but TGIF is right around the corner! 

It's not the same without them talking smack.  They'll be back, they can't stay away.

I am back now...my son decided the fishes needed to go online and dropped the laptop in the aquarium....thank god for the best buy protection plan, I got a new laptop and they were able to save all my files from the old one!! I'm back biches!!!

Figures.  You guys are all back and now I'm the busy one.  Only 48 more hours until I get denied for my new Alpha.  WOOHOO

Another thought:  Alphas right now, at least all of them I have seen come loaded up, maybe with more chit thatn you want or need.   More precisely, more chit than you want to pay for.  So look hard at the numbers, as production continues to run, the availability of lower option packages increases, and you get closer to your lease end.  So, what my be a stretch this month, may be better in two monts?  Let them check and see if exactly what you want is available in the region and can be swapped to your dealer.
 
Last.    WTF? 

I've spent the first 3 days/nights of this week doing that.  Believe me, the deal I'm going to get on this Alpha if it happens is, VERY good.  You wouldn't believe it if I told you  If not, I have 3 backup ones.

Honestly, unless I do 84 month financing and get an amazing interest rate, even with the deal my friend is getting me, I really doubt I'll be willing to make the kind of payments I'd have to on the Alpha, and that's assuming I even get them to take back my leased vehicle, which I doubt is going to happen.
 
If the Alpha doesn't work out, this is my next choice:

We both really love the two-tone interior, so if the Alpha is out of reach, this is more realistic, even if we do end up upside down a little on the loan. 
 
I have a small dent in my rear bumper and some minor nicks in the paint, as well as the cargo area not exactly being in pristine condition, so I guess it all depends on how picky they are.  Impy told me how they do it, and going by that information alone, it seems like it's mostly at the discretion of the dealer and what condition they tell GM the vehicle is in.  Apparently nobody that works directly for GM really even sees the lease returns which could play in my favor.
 
The most important thing is now the wife will be able to drive it because it will be automatic......
 
Of course, the last time she drove a car, it got T-boned and ended up having 6k in damage   That was 3 years ago and some moron ran a red light through an intersection.

Thanks 3hummers.  I hope so as well, but I'm not leaving without either a new truck or a GMPP.  Either way, I'll be ordering underbody protection for whichever truck I end up with.
