Wonder why it only works on HUMMERS....?
Seriously, it has to be better than nothing..If you had some serious scartches and keying marks..it might be worth a try...

Looks like this would work; however, you're basically buying a vial of touch up paint and a buffing kit to help blend it in. Look at the components: electric buffer, "activator" or a fancy word for cleaner to strip off the wax, touch up paint, polish (and I think there are several threads discussing wax and polish), microfiber cloths and buffing bonnets. Go to Pep Boys and build your own kit.

A friend of mine used them against everyones recommendation .. his Nissan was back in the paint shop 3 times before they finally got it right .. and I still think it looked like crap!!!! Bottom line is, you get what you pay for folks :-)

I guess this all depends upon the actual Maaco shop where you take your vehicle to. I took an older Ford 'Ranger XLT', to have it repainted from the OEM blue metallic to a silver metallic, to several better quality local body/paint shops in my area. After receiving paint estimates anywhere from $3,500 to $7,000 from these shops, I opted to go the Maaco route....heck, the truck was only worth about two grand. Well, the local Maaco shop did a great job and the 'paint job' looked really good. The new owner of the 'Ranger' has experienced no problems to date, and the paint still looks great and 'as good as new'. I too had read 'horror stories' on the Internet with regard to Maaco's quality, but fortunately, none of those complaints had addressed the Maaco shop in my area...thank goodness.
