Ok before taking delivery of our 06 h2 Lux with airride, we borrowed from the dealer an 03/04 Lux...first thing I noticed was the DIC info wasn't as detailed on the 06...eg on the earlier model there were options under DIC for Driver 1 and Driver 2, then with options like those settings triggered by 'key in' or via remote/ seat settings/air temp/ radio station etc etc...however on the 06 DIC only has one lot of settings and only programmable to the drivers door 1 and 2...we have obviously got two sets of keys /remotes with our 06 identified as 1 and 2 but neither seems to be programmable specifically eg I can put keys "2' in the car and if DIC/door is at '1" then that 's the setting you get unless you press '2' on the door..hmm
Also on the 03/04 you also got mpg instant..06 only gets average mpg...the 03/04 also got programming to identify 'business' ..thats not on the 06..
I have hunted thru all the settings I can see thru DIC and door number programming...I can't seem to 'unlock' any further level of programming...so was that stuff scrapped or is that level programming in there [DIC] but needs to be unlocked by the dealer

There is no other level of programmimg. What you see is what you get.
I know it sucks, but you get used to it.

Our Corvette had a 'slug' of those programmable options/features - Key #1 vs. Key #2, but once set, I never really messed around with them, except when I had to reprogram a key fob. There is still quite a bit of programmable features in the '06 H2, and upon vehicle delivery yesterday, the salesman helped my wife set-up the #1 driver memory position to her own personal settings; i.e., reverse mirror tilt option, seating position, sideview mirror position, etc.; however, these settings are not key specific. I actually prefer it this way, especially after borrowing my wife's Corvette key when I was too lazy to retrieve my own. Because of our substantial height difference, as soon as my knees were forced up and into my chin with the steering wheel into my gut, I quickly learned that it was much safer to utilize my own Corvette key.
