spring break wont work for me.

ah... gotcha... spring break here is earlier.
 
Why don't we just do the 5th then and I'll suck it up and pack my stuff early instead of waiting til the day before.

i'm definitely OUT for the entire weekend of 4/4.  its QE for us accountants...gotta close the books. 
 
i can do the weekends of 3/28 and 4/12 (and after).
 
its no biggie if you guys decide on 4/4.  my feelings wont be hurt...that bad....  then again, i hate spending 4 hours buffing out scratches, so its not all bad .
 
btw, Ray, thanks for even trying to pull something together.  its definitely a beating be the organizer...especially when there's so many conflicting schedules.

I'm in. Just about any weekend is good for me, I just need two weeks notice to get the night off work.

I'd like to go to barnwell, but if ya'll want to to somewhere diferent, Shiloh ridge is not that much furter. I'm also always game for a beach run but turns in to a full weekend.

I'm going to do Barnwell someday. I've heard nothing but great stuff about it. Going up with Sam and a group of the Dallas guys would be great,

I just got back from barnwell a few hours ago and man was it a great weekend. We had about 30 hummers show up ill post pics once i get the xd convertor. We went with sam from your hummeradv great group of people and the trail guides are awsome.

I knew Sam and them were going whether they hit the magic number or not. He brings very good spotters and puts on a great event. He does Hummer Happenings for dealers all over Texas. Thet are good people. Hopefully you didn't suffer any carnage and have some great pics of the action. Post as soon as you can.

Let's also decide when/where to meet. Meet somewhere round Dallas and caravan to Barnwell or meet at the park?? Any suggestions?

What route do you take to get there? It looks like Google maps says to take I-20 most of the way. I live in Rockwall so if you guys that actually live in Dallas meet up there and head out I could catch up with you somewhere out on 20.

Let's figure out where to meet. I live in Arlington near I-20. So I-20 is the natural route for me. I'll meet you guys anywhere along the way. I'd love to get a caravan going down the highway. That'd piss off the tree-huggers wouldn't it.

Anyone got a specific spot in mind? If not we'll pick an arbitrary point I guess somewhere around I-20 around Dallas or just east of there.

The wife informed me on friday that she will have to work that weekend..... hopefuly I can get the mother in law to watch the boys. 
 
That said, I dont think it makes any diference taking 20 Vs 30, so yall pick a spot that works for the majority.... I'm in Plano, so 30s a little closer, but 20s fine with me too, but I dont know any places there to meet.

Well, we've still got a little time to hash out a meeting place, I kinda like the caravan idea too.

As far as a meeting place, anyone got a good location off the top of their head?

I think I-20 is the better route to Barnwell, so maybe we should think about a common location somewhere near I-20 and maybe 635 east loop or even I-45 and I-20?

If you guys would rather meet around I-30 the only thing that comes to mind is the mall in Mesquite there at 635 and 30. What's the name of that? TownEast Mall or Square or something like that?

BTW_ I need to get a CB radio, are you guys in possession of one, if so bring it... I think it's a great idea and sure makes communications between all the vehicles a lot easier.

I have a CB plus a spare which I will bring......... Proided the MIL is around to tend to kids that day.
