That last picture reminds me of the movie Over the hedge. It looks like they all get together and talk... "I'm in the mood for a snack - come on guys, lets go hit up those people - they always cave in".

Little rat bastids! LOL  (And I'm a critter lover!) I have a family of these little sons a guns who like to frequent my backyard every other night or so and take a huge dump on my pool and hot tub steps!  Needless to say we are constantly having to drain a bit and acid wash the steps as it stains horribly!  We have tried everything from coyote urine sprinkled all around to placing the patio furniture as barriers (they just hop in elsewhere and swim across to the steps then), to humane cage type traps (caught the neighbors cat a couple times lol) to calling Fish & Game who then tells me "oh we will only come out if they are injured" - well they are going to be injured one of these days when I pop a cap in their little hairy coon (_(_)'s!!

When they bring their babies up, there are at least 10 on the porch.  They only respond to us. When we have friends over and they see different people or hear different voices, they are very cautious

AAaaawwwwww babies?!? That is just so cute to me! If they were pooping on my pool steps, it wouldn't be so cute. But out in the woods - I'd be calling for them to be able to feed them.

So, what are their names?

Thet have not caused us any problems at all except cleaning out the bird feeder. They don't even crap in the yard.

They are cute Paige and as I said I am a total critter lover..but how maddening to go out there morning after morning and see that big mess when one is trying to get ready to go to work and then have to deal with it because it cannot be left to sit there as it stains the diamond brite terribly not to mention being unsanitary...and no one seems to be able to give us an answer as to how to put a stop to this.  These pics just make u wanna pick em up and play with them tho ( they can pack a MEAN bite too by the way!)

Be very careful. They are still wild animals no matter how much you want them to be domesticated. And remember Rabies doesn't always show its signs!
