Yesterday, Mike accepted an offer at Schepel Hummer in Merrillville, IN as a service department Service Advisor.  It's a bit out of his normal profession, but he is going to make a great advisor because of his knowledge and love of the Hummer line of trucks.

NOW, maybe I'll FINALLY get my $#$# differential fixed properly

Congrats Mike!

Actually, his roots I believe began back with the ACK COUGH BARF "other" forum  but I slowly and surely converted him  and brought him into the light.

"Hello. When can I pick up my H3 from the oil change?"

"Well sir, we found a problem.  You see, your flux capacitor is discombobulating from your contusion rod, and because the forceflex strap is twisted, we'll have to replace the entire forefront balancing gyroscope, and that's not covered under warranty.  Because you wanted to have the oil changed, we went ahead and fixed all that for you since we couldn't get to your oil plug and sensory deprivation controls without repairing the problem.  Now, will that be cash or charge?"

Now you got me wanting to watch Back to th Future, Mike!

I used to joke with my dad when he asked me about a noise he heard with his car once. I told him it sounded like his muffler bearings were shot. :)

Mike, make sure Mike gives you a decent loaner...Say a Caddy XLR
HummerGuy

Yeah, Mike and I are around the same age (I believe) and we seem to like the Caddi's we have gotten as loaners.  Does that make us, how would you say this politely, OLD?

Or, as my wife is quoted as saying "That's an old-man car"

Of course, I will take an XLR any day.  That tops my list of all-time favorite cars.
