Hi Guys,

Have noticed in the last 24hrs a strange feeling coming from the clutch.

When the pedal is completely depressed on occasion i feel what can only be described as a clicking sensation. It comes through the steering wheel on occasion as well as the pedal, and isn't always present.

It doesn't appear to effect any workings of the vehicle, however i am unsure if it is normal (ie others here experience it) or whether it is a warning of something to come. I am having an exhaust rattle issue sorted next week, and i will tell them about this as well.

The exhaust rattle issue seams to be coming from inside the exhaust, and appears at between 2000 and 4000 RPM range, anyone familiar with such a problem? It doesn't worry me as the dealer is prepared to swap the entire exhaust if they can't find the solution.

I think you need to look at the steering shaft issue thread, may be similar. I know there are 20+ pages but it is load with info. While most of us lazy, fat Americans have automatic transmissions, the issues may pop up on clutch pedals too.

Hey I admit to being a little lazy...but I haven't achieved the fat thing yet.

Good to hear that the lazyness has spread

It’s probably not the steering shaft issue.  You can feel it in the clutch, but not as you do in the brake.

The only clicking I've noticed from the clutch is the switch for the starter interrupt / cruise control.

BTW:   we aren’t all fat and lazy.
