Can you guys help me program my H2 garage opener?

Hello everyone! Yes, this must be a n00b question but I must know!

How do I go about programming the garage door opener? If that is what it is, I believe... On my roof next to the moonroof buttons...

It's in the owners manual. If you don't have one, I will check mine tomarrow.
 
I believe you have to hold the button until it blinks at you, then press your remote next to it and it should blink again.

Hold the outside two buttons down until the lights start to blink.
 
Release the buttons, then hold the opener about 3 inches away.  Press the opener and the button you want to control it at the same time.
 
should take about 10 seconds.

Let us know if this works.
 
If you have a ROLLING CODE garage door opener, I believe it's different.
 
I just don't wanna GO INTO IT unless you need it!!

Okay, Here is the Homelink "MANUAL" part. I'm pretty sure you have to do the GATE OPERATOR AND CANADIAN PROGRAMMING part!! I kinda remember that's what you have to do with the rolling code systems!!

Wow, thank you very much for such informative information! Lols, my light doesn't even turn red! It is green and blinks green. I thought that was how it is... Lols 

I think it IS GREEN??? Can't remember, been 3 years since I programmed mine!!
 
I DO remember it was a PAIN IN THE ASS!!!
