Buying with a GMID questions

I'm going to the dealer on Monday. I've read that the GMID is a set price like the MSRP and invoice. Do I tell the dealer which H3 I want and that I have a GMID and it's a done deal? How does a GMID purchase work? Thanks

You order or pick out the truck then he put in the GMID it is usally a # and thats it you should save over three thousand dollars so it a set price and you will not get it any cheaper.

I want Slate Blue, but since it's the end of the model year I might have to take another color to get it set up like I want. Yellow would be my second choice. Thanks for the help.

I bought my H3 with a gmid and saved $3500. I liked the slate blue when I saw it on the Hummer Website but did not
like it in person so I bought the Superior Blue instead.
