easy access, these are the two at the very front of the frame rails, you can see them in front of your front tires (all that junk on the pic has been hosed off). i think this explains why my front end is uneven, with the pass side torsion bar cranked up all the way. find out tomorrow when they replace it.

Geez, what would cause such deterioration in a such a short amount of time? Not like the H2 is 10 years old.

junk parts is my guess. first model year, first run with a new shape, crappy rubber. nobody makes polyurethane for these yet, so i'll have to go with stock. if i get another 45k out of them, i'll be ok. it's not like the climate here is detrimental to it.

was it an expensive fix?

just got back, warranty repair, they didn't even make me pay my deductible.

wow..thats awesome. it seems that i read about more good accounts of dealerships than bad ones, but bad ones get so much more play...

well, apparently they forgot about the deductible, because i bought some parts as well and the parts guy/cashier left the deductible off the invoice. they called yesterday to clean up their mess. i figure i got about $500 in parts for $200, so i didn't complain about paying the deductible. once i get the parts on, i'll post pics. in order to build the excitement, i'll keep the parts list to myself. here's a pic showing what it looks like now, at least from one angle.
