Hey my rear in seat rest dvds blew the 10 amp fuse some how. Has any one had this happen before? I put in a new one and the dvds started fine and played a movie. Has not happened agian. yet ..... Anyone have any ideas on why this might happen... If it was a short the fuse would blow immediatley. The fact that it blew and now works is puzzling tho say the least.. Any ideas.....
Thanks Keith D

could have been anything really - power spike from starting up, motor pulling more power from hitting a bump, etc. the fact that it's working now seems to indicate it's not something broken. could be an intermittent short - but you'll know that soon enough if it blows again.

I agree with shorty.... one blown fuse happens.... two blown fuses is a short....

So far so good. Made it through a few more movies. I am hoping it is not a short. Those intermitant shorts a a real pain to diagnose. We are dealing with one on our firewood processor right now. Also had one on our hyundia excavator. took the dealer four hours to fix the radio. It kept turning of on its own. It ended up being a scuffed wire in the wall of the machine. Glad to have the warrenty!!!!
