I got the stock 33" that came with the Adv. Pkg. there perfect for on/off road use. There good on the trail but not so good in mud or sand.

Depends on what you are looking for. I have the BFG AT's 33's. Great for a compromise tire, but not if you are a serious off roader. I have a spare set of rims in the garage that I'm thinking about getting some MT for and just throw them on if I'm going somewhere that calls for it.

I'm considering 33" Pirelli Scorpion ATRs for my H3...I do 90% hwy, 10% offroad. Anybody have experience with these? Other recommendations?

pirelli doesn't make an at that I would put on a truck that will ever see dirt....street tire and should stay on the street. If your going to go the AT route go with a dune grappler, BFG AT...Mickey THompson atz, or the trxus sts is an awesome tire also.
I had these on my grand cherokee or a year or two.....really good compromise tire and vey quiet on the street.

90% highway, I'd go with the BFG At's and if you are going with new anyway, get the 35"s (315's) Look awesome and perfom excellent. Never heard anyone say a bad thing about them.

I hesitate to go that big on my wheels and tires, mostly to keep the unsprung weight down, less wear and tear on the suspension components. The bigger tires do look great though.
Importkiller, I love the look of the Trxus sts! Aggressive looking side walls...How long did they last mileage wise? And you say they are quiet? I do appreciate a quite tire. On a scale 1 to 10 amongst the AT's How quiet are the Trxus?
Which AT runs the quietest? Anybody?

the truxus sts would be about an 8 for sound...with 10 bieng the quietest. I had them on for about 30,000 miles and tey still had good treadlife left. I sold them and bought mickey thompson baja belted mt's. dune grapplers are as good and quieter though....check these out

Sweet! How do the the Dune Grapplers perform? The lugs don't look that deep or open. I looked them up on-line...they aren't priced too bad...Killer look!

What a strange question. That's like asking who has the best H3. Tires are an application best suited to the terrain (or lack of) for each driver or locale. For now the stock 285's are just fine for Florida. They're the best because I don't have to buy new ones. My next set will depend on where I am in this country and what I plan on doing with my rig. One thing you can take to the bank, they won't say Toyo, Nippon, Chen Shin or anything like that. It'll be a cold day in hell before that happens. Be American, Buy American!

they are great on road and are amazing in sand....one of the best sand tires out right now. I don't do alot of sand but have friends that do and all the offroad mags praised this tire for on road drivability and sand....it got rated average in snow and ice but did well on dirt trails. It would be better than stockers in all areas but of course it is a compromise tire so it won't be as great as a mud tire in certain off road situations. My buddy has them on an 07 f250 diesel lifted and running 37's. Has had them for 25,000 miles and he still loves them....they are a real head turner.

I'm out here in California where turnin heads and posing is a kin to breathing. Besides running over paparazzi, I'll encounter more sand and loose dry stuff than mud...hummmm you got me thinking Grapplers...will I need to paint flames on the side of my rig?
BTW Can anyone see my photo? All I have is a question mark here.

new bfg's look ok but they're still the same crap as the old from what I've heard. JP mag reported that the new bfg mt's are actually the same as the mt's bfg made for the new jeep wrangler rubicons....if that's true...I'll pass...they suck azz!!! now if you're talkin the bfg crawlers....they look to be an awesome tire.

I got the KM2s and they rock!! Out of all my sets these are the best IMHO.
In mud, rock and street by far the best tire I've ever owned.

cool, they basically took the bfg Crawler and made it into a new MT....The crawlers are an awesome tire..if these perform as well I'd be interested to try them...but I can guarentee they will be louder than the mtz's.

Well, I put the BFG AT's 33's on mine. They look ALOT better then the Wrangler RT/S 265's that were on it. I've had them before and never had a problem with them, but like I said, I don't encounter the same "off road" or the amount that alot on here do so they work well for me. And I am planning on putting some MT's on the spare rims that I have just in case.
And no, can't see your pic. It's a big red
