I love the gas mileage thats what sold me on the h 3. I am used to more room and thought i could get used to it, its just not comfortable on a long trips. i dont know will i regret the gas mileage if i trade for h 2? Anyone out there had a H 2 then went to h 3 ?I just wish it had more leg room and was more roomy all over. whats your thoughts on this ?the H 2 has so much luxiry and comfort.

I am surprised I can fit so little into my H3 but the only thing that would make me want the H2 more would be if it came with a front locker. i also think the H3 is a better proportioned and better looking vehicle and that is important for a designer such as me. I have been getting between 17 and 19.5 mpg and with only 600 miles I know it is not broken in yet so 22 mpg looks possible especially when using a synthetic motor oil. Gas is about $2.60 reg in places here which counts too. What do the H2's get, like 11 or 12 mpg? Also, I have been on some trails that a H2 would not fit though and forget about turning around or backing up on them.

I am not sure about the room but I can agree on the style. Loved the H1 but nver liked the H2 all that much. I personally think the H3, at least in appearance, is the best looking of the lot. The lines and proporations just work.

Does any one else think the seats could have been more comfortable then they are on the H 3.the seat backs really hurt after a long trip like 3 hours or more.

no i have leather but i think the cloth gives more and seems thicker and more cushy and feels better to me. i know some other people who say ther car they drive is softter in cloth then the leather was.

I prefer the H3 over the H2. The luxury package seats offers more adjustment. It sure would be great to have a back seat that folds flat or easily removed (this would help storage area/capacity of 56 cubic ft.).

I have the cloth seats and I think they are great. Supportive but not too hard.

Super duper adjustable power seats???..Who really needs them besides just saying you have them?..Come on, Unless you have 3 or 4 different people driving your HUMMER..How many times do you have to re-adjust your seat???..Me, I set mine up once, when I first stuck my butt in and have not messed with it since..It's really strange..My seat stays exactly where I left it the last time I sat in it....Do the Leather ones move around and re-position themselve while you're a sleep in bed at night??
Just wondering

I do occasionally move my seat around. Maybe I shrink in the rain? LOL.
I don't have the power seats. I got cloth because I'm not responsible enough to have nice things... no really I thought my dogs would trash the leather. Instead, they just shed fur into the weave of the cloth.

dilo how tall are you?
my wife is 4-11 so when i drive(5-10) it gets moved so it was better for us to have power seats,
but she still rides with it pretty low i just wished they would go lower it seems to high for me. but my other
ride is a 00 z-28 so i'm used to the lower ride.
and no the h-2 are crap as well as a gas hog! put some nice rims on your h3 and you'll have a killer looking ride
o and go with bfg a/t ko's with letters out! i have 285-65-18's on mine. nice but not getto!!!!!
the only thing i would change about my h3 is for it to have the trailblazer engine and tranny! 275 HP
would make this thing a real beast!

I had a 2004 H2 (22's, lowered, flowmaster muffler, hypertech programmer, K/N air filter) and now a 2006 H3 (20's airraid spacer, exhaust and hopefully programmer), overall I prefer the H2 over the H3. The H2 has more options (driver friendly), room (seats and cargo area), and power (H3 is a slug).

someone in a Vette Forum once posted a way to add seat memory to those cars not originally equipped. Has anyone tried this on a H3? It sure would eliminate problems in size and reach beween my wife and me.
