If I drive for one day....my antenna loosens up, so that it almost falls off.....can't seem to get it tight enough....
Just curious if anyone else's 3 does this....

nope, changed the stock though (and even needed pliers to get it off, was on there tight)

I have noticed my antenna loose on a few occasions since buying the H3 in october. I'm seriously thinking about getting a shorter antenna as the one now hits the top of the garage door. I'm wondering if that is causing it to loosen up.

try some loktite or a drop of silicon caulk on the threads even thread tape can work.

I don't think that I have ever had a car that didn't do that Solar, not without tighting it up with a rag (so not to scratch it) and a pair of pliers.

I have tightened the one on the H3 a number of times. I always tell myself to use the lock-tite, but usually when I am away from the garage and then I forget about it. Short answer is yes the 3 antenna is loose all the time.

Mine gets loose as well. I just check on it once in awhile.

MIne loosened up a few times, but I buggered up the last couple of threads on the "bolt" looking side of it and torqued it down again. It hasn't come loose again.

Mine was loose when I first got it, have not checked it latley. I guess I better check it.

Mine never comes loose, I even have had it bend almost in half while going thru the woods and it stands up to all the abuse. I have one of those ant. toppers on it also. Try some Loctite that will fix it.

Yes, mine loosens up because the Car Wash never tightens it after removing it !!! I always check it after I get the H3 washed.

no more loose antenna....went to Walmart and got some blue loctite.......should never comes loose now...

Put the AMI shorty on mine. 21" version. The stocker was tight getting it off and the shorty has stayed tight without Loctite.
