Air Filter Meter

Ok for those of you who know what I am talking about.  How do I read the damn thing?

From what I can tell, when it turns red, replace the filter.
 
Although I never waited that long

i have always replaced my whole unit w/ a k&n,i never worry about those

Does anyone have a finite answer?

When it turns red the air is restricted to the point that you have pressure buildup....
 
Like Chris said... if it is red you waited too long....
 
K&N sucks.... I wouldn't put a K&N on a yugo....  don't believe me... put something like a coffee filter on the inside and see what it looks like...
 
I just replaced mine....  the meter was green... the filter was black...  Napa Gold 6889  Lists for $129.79
 
I also bought a cabin air filter... Napa 4814 lists for $42.48

The one on your fresh air intake for the HVAC.....  I can take a picture this weekend if you need help locating it....
