To Kareem Of WheaTT those air ducts the passanger side is real it let air into the filter that why you can go into deep water and it 's good if you put a kn&n airfilter on it brethes better from that vent to the filter.

Let me get this right, the oem airbox in the truck is vented to the passenger side airvent, that the dealer said is decoration,

yes i was at the dealership while they installed a kn airfilter kit to a h3 that what they told me that why we can go so deep into water.
if you notice on some h1 and h2 they use bigger snokel on there trucks and they are in the same vent.
plus the kn fit into the fender then the air goes to the vent threw the filter for more horse power that what i was told i will soon find out i just have a kn filter now but i'm buying the whole kit.

dont beleive anything the dealer tells you they told me i could not get my horn to work when i lock my door thanks to you guys it works great.i guess it depend on who you deal with and if they know anything about this new truck mostly the manger know more because they send them where they make them and educate them not the salemen

My dealer told me the two covers in front of the windshield were brake cooling ducts... I don't believe the intake is any more that you see in the immediate duct work... It seems more like a cold air induction setup than it does a waterproof snorkel... That is probably why it is only good for 24 inches of water at 5 mph...

well we will adventully find out we have great people on this site i know someone will figure it out
