I know the adventure package comes with the larger tires (LT285/75R16) as compared to the standard model H3 (P265/75R16). Are there any issues (rubbing / tire clearance) with mounting the larger tire size on the standard package H3?

No issues brud. Pleanty of clearance. Not extremely aggressive for off road, but a reasonable compromise and very good on the road. When I burn these up I'll be looking for a little more dirt tread, maybe 1" wider, and those would also pose no issues.
