We are in the process of building a cabin in Bryson City, North Carolina (Smoky Mountains area). Two weeks ago we went up to see the progress of our cabin so we decided to drive the H2 from home in Fort Lauderdale to NC. We drove a total of 2,000 miles round trip. All I got to say is....what an awesome truck!!!!
Here's a few pics...enjoy!

Nice truck, did u design your own plans or did u buy already pre-drawn plans? I am looking to build a cabin also (in wisconsin) I go to all the log and timber home conventions.

We design our plans. This is what the cabin should look like when finished....
This is what it looks like now....

Likewise. I bought some acres near Boone. We were there over New Year. Only a flurry of Snow though.

When you said cabin I was thinking a little cabin or A frame. That is a very nice looking place. Long drive from Florida though. H2 is a great road truck isn't it?

Nice truck and House.

You can call it a cabin, but that is no cabin in my book. Way too nice for even "cottage".
