Really depends on what you want to do.  20's are bad ass if you dont really ever going on an offroad excursion.  I am not saying I would not go offroad with 20's but I dont think I would  be going to MOAB or Tellico with them.  I have 18's and think they look great!

20s are fine as long as you have 37s as a minimum.

20s with 37s only have 1/4" less sidewall than the stock setup

UMMM Do you have Air-Ride???? If you do you need to do a modification to your Sensors in the back.  Or just go with the 12.5 wide instead and have no problems.  I am assuming that you are choosing Nitto's becuase they are cheap but they are cheap for a reason, I would stay away from them if I was you.

let's end this thread.  37x13.5 will fit with no lift on a non-air rear suspension H2.  been there, done that, now either do it or don't.

Beating a dead horse I know, does anyone know with 37" tires on our H2 what its height is compared to a stock truck. I notice all big wheels always require the trucks to have 2" of lift or more so is the H2 stock suspension equal to that of say a 2" lift? I have a friend with a Z71 with 35s and a 4" lift and want to be almost as tall as him. (when I eventually buy wheels & tires again)

my brother has a 07 extended cab silverado with 6 inch lift and 35's and he has go a few inces on me. I have 37's btw. I would say his roof is even with the rood bars.

with no lift the H2 is going to be 1" taller with 37" tires instead of stock.

I just took of my 37's with nitto mudd grapler's,these tire's are the most agresive looking on the market but they are extreamly noisy and make for a rough ride, when i was on my cell everyone thought i was on a plane.Ihad them on for 2 year's and 60k miles and the more they ware out the louder they get.But all in all they6 are bad ass

Will 37/12.5/17 fit on a 17x8 rim? If not whats the minimum width the rim can be for these tires?

stock 35's that come on the truck are 12.5, so if you've still got stock rims (sorry dude, i know how that musta hurt), yes, they'll fit, but they'll probably rub on the sway bar and back of the frame more than the stock ones did.  i don't know what size the stock rim is, or even what size my rims are, so can't tell you if a 17x8 rim will work or not.
